Loan signings at the borrower's kitchen table

Title companies and lenders send me closing packages; borrowers get a calm signing at home or at work. Documents go back the same day.

Loan signing: travel and service from $150, plus $5 per notarized signature.

Signings I handle

  • Refinances and home equity lines of credit
  • Buyer and seller packages for purchases
  • Reverse mortgages and loan modifications
  • Deeds, quit claims and real estate affidavits

For title companies and lenders

  • Package printing on request
  • Same-day shipping or scan-backs
  • Evening and weekend signings
  • Coverage from Chicago to the west and south suburbs

What a notary can and can't do

I verify identity, make sure the signer is signing willingly, and complete the notarial certificate. I can't give legal advice, draft documents or tell you what to sign. For that, talk to an attorney.

Questions people ask

Do you explain the loan documents?

I'll tell you what each document is called and where to sign, but questions about rates, terms or fees go to your lender or title officer.

Can we sign at my office?

Yes, anywhere private enough for you to review the documents.
